New Diamond MS Syringes - Lowest Syringe Carryover for Mass Spec Applications

By | March 23 2012

A leader in syringe manufacture for over 50 years, SGE Analytical Science remains at the forefront of development and announces the launch of a new range of MS syringes: the Diamond MS syringe.

One hundred times more sensitive than a conventional syringe, the unique design of the Diamond MS syringe ensures the lowest possible syringe carryover, lower even than the best fixed needle syringe available today.

Compared to competitor premium syringes, LCMS tests show Diamond MS syringes contaminated with reserpine have superior cleanability, delivering improved sensitivity for MS users.

Along with the re-engineered design, SGE Analytical Science has also developed three Ultra Smooth needles, available for specific sample properties. Available in ultra smooth, hydrophilic or hydrophobic coating, sample interaction is minimized.

Addressing a major concern with MS analysis, tests have shown that the Diamond MS syringe used with an ultra smooth needle reduces non specific interaction and increases sample recovery.

Diamond MS syringes are especially recommended for highly sensitive applications, trace level and large volume analyses.
