The Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) is pleased to announce its support of the UCLA Extension’s Technical Management Program set for Sept. 13-18 on the UCLA Campus.
ALA President Erik Rubin, Ph.D., applauds the distinctive UCLA Extension program.
“This is an established, well-regarded management track program for technically savvy professionals,” said Rubin. “We’re hopeful more and more scientists and engineers with management track interests take advantage of programs such as this one at UCLA. UCLA Technical Management Program Director, William Goodin, Ph.D., says the program has met with tremendous success thus far, “the continued progress of this program relies on participation from across the United States and abroad. More than 15,000 professionals have participated in this program since its inception.
With additional recognition and support from organizations such as ALA, we are hopeful enrollment remains robust and grows.”
The 78th edition of the intense five-day technical management course at UCLA offers emerging and seasoned professionals the opportunity to learn the latest business trends and paradigms, and obtain a repertoire of methods to solve problems, and plan strategies. This year’s program is highlighted by instructors from UCLA, USC, the Claremont Colleges and adjunct industry representatives from as Northrop Grumman Space Technology, ITT Industries and Potencium Limited, London, United Kingdom.
