Pittsburgh, PA, December 15 2015—The Pittcon marketing department is pleased to announce the release of its official conference and exposition mobile app, Pittcon 2016. The app, available for free download in the App Store for iOS and Android devices and the Kindle Fire, serves as a valuable resource tool before, during and after the event. It acts as an all-inclusive real-time show guide containing details on exhibiting companies, technical sessions, Conferee Networking sessions, short courses and local city information.

Powerful features will help attendees to stay organized and easily network with each other. The EventPilot conference app includes a full listing of all exhibitors with detailed company information, exhibitor search, product filters, animated expo hall maps, note taking, and much more.

Pittcon Marketing Assistant Kim Palastro commented, “Every year, we strive to reduce our footprint, and the mobile app significantly contributes to this goal. It eliminates the need for printed materials, as it delivers enhanced functionality and increased benefits when compared to web-driven or hard copy programs.”

“For a large event with a vast expo hall, attendees need an easy way to plan and find all the vendors they want to see,” said Silke Fleischer, CEO and Co-Founder of ATIV Software. “Pittcon is a leader when it comes to implementing event technology. As an early adopter of mobile meeting apps, they have partnered with us to provide a powerful event app that enables attendees to navigate such a massive technical conference.”
