Jenway® Showcases New 74 Series Spectrophotometers at ArabLab 2018
The new spectrophotometers are designed to be easy to use, and are ideal for applications in education, routine quality control, and analysis in the food industry
15th March 2018 – Cole-Parmer Ltd. announced today that Jenway®, a leading UK manufacturer of analytical laboratory instruments, will showcase the new 74 series spectrophotometers at ArabLab 2018, prior to its launch. The four-day event, held at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, is one of the largest international trade fairs for laboratory instrumentation.
The 74 series spectrophotometers are designed to be easy to use, and are ideal for applications in education, routine quality control, and analysis in the food industry. The range consists of two models: the 7410 and the 7415. Model 7410 benefits from a tungsten halogen lamp for measurements in the visible spectrum from 320 to 1000nm. Model 7415 uses a press to read xenon lamp to extend measurements into the UV spectrum, down to 198nm. Both models have a 5nm spectral bandwidth and are covered by a 3-year warranty.
Succeeding the existing 73 range series, the 74 range has been designed with improved connectivity. The easy access USB ports on the front of the instrument can be used for both data transfer and printer connectivity. In addition, both models feature a high definition 7” color touchscreen, 10GB internal memory and multi-language options including English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.
