Thermal analysis involves measuring changes in the physical properties of materials as they change with temperature. It can be used for a diverse set of applications such as for analysis of pharmaceutical substances, polymers, metals and food samples. There are several techniques that are used for thermal analysis and they differ from each other by the property that is being measured. For instance, Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) measures change in mass, while Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) measures heat difference and Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) measures temperature difference. There are many other techniques as well and each offers some distinct advantages. Free to all lab professionals, Lab Manager’s live educational webinar presents you with an opportunity to find out about the latest trends in thermal analysis. So join our panel of experts, representing leading technology providers, to discuss your specific samples or applications and receive feedback from them in real-time.

As an attendee, you will learn about:

  • Pros and cons of commonly used thermal analysis techniques
  • Improvisations in current techniques and introduction to new ones
  • Pairing the right technique to the specific application
  • Advantage over spectroscopic and other physical analytical techniques
  • Overcoming challenges in thermal analysis
