Beginning as a lab courier and spending time in Sample Accessioning, Wet Chemistry and Metals departments, Cameron started out at a local full-service environmental analytical laboratory. After 2.5 years in the traditional lab environment, Cameron moved to on-site and mobile laboratory work using ICPMS, GC-ECD, GC-MS, and LC-MS/MS. In that role with Pace Analytical, he worked on the first mobile lab to receive DoD ELAP accreditation and helped optimize and evaluate a screening method using inline-SPE-LC-MS/MS under an ESTCP project partnering with Arcadis. Since 2022, Cameron has worn multiple hats supporting Battelle’s PFAS Signature® program, with suspect screening for hundreds of PFAS by LC-ToF-MS, in addition to other specialty PFAS analyses in air and in fully non-targeted analyses. Over his ten years’ experience, Cameron has focused on data management and data quality across increasingly complex analytical projects.
