Gyorgy Vas, PhD, is a research fellow at Intertek Pharmaceutical Services in Whitehouse, NJ. Gyorgy Vas has over 25 years of experience in scientific research, pharmaceutical, and medical device product development, as well as laboratory management. More than 15 years was spent in a cGMP environment, where that scientific expertise was applied to solve problems related to finished pharmaceutical products and medical devices. Over a decade of his experience involved developing trace level analytical test methods for complex pharmaceutical formulations, including transdermal delivery systems, polymer based injectable products, and large volume parenterals, both traditional small molecules and biologics. In his current position, he is advising analytical and regulatory filing strategy for those complex products, and his group provides solutions to mitigate deficiency letters.
