Ken Chantavat MBA, MLS(ASCP)CM DLMCM, LSSBB is a healthcare operations leader with more than a decade of leadership experience spanning hospital, regional, and ambulatory laboratory environments. He is known for elevating diagnostic quality, strengthening regulatory readiness, and modernizing operations through Lean methods, automation, and LIS/middleware optimization. Ken has led enterprise level initiatives that standardized policies, improved safety culture, advanced downtime governance, expanded services, and enhanced competency and training programs across diverse laboratory settings. A people first leader, he is recognized for building strong teams, developing supervisors and managers, and creating engagement driven cultures that retain top talent.
Ken holds a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, an MBA in Healthcare, an Executive Healthcare Leadership Certificate, multiple postbaccalaureate credentials in molecular diagnostics, flow cytometry and laboratory management, as well as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Diplomate in Laboratory Management certifications. He also serves on multiple university medical lab science program advisory boards and is an active member of American College of Healthcare Executive (ACHE), Children’s Hospital Association (CHA), and American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
