Nazmul Alam is an analytical chemist with 14 years of HPLC and LC-MS method work across pharmaceutical, contract research, environmental and natural health product laboratories. He developed and validated bioanalytical methods supporting FDA submissions at two Mississauga CROs, and ran LC-HRMS analyses at the Ontario Ministry of the Environment. He holds a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Waterloo, where he worked in Janusz Pawliszyn's group on solid phase microextraction and LC-MS/MS, and has published 18 peer-reviewed papers with more than 1,900 citations. He has trained over 200 students and analysts in sample preparation and mass spectrometry. He now works independently from Mississauga, helping laboratories develop, transfer, troubleshoot and validate their methods.
