Lab Manager has earned the Gold award for Best Single Issue in the 2026 Tabbie Awards, marking the publication’s fourth year of recognition in the international B2B journalism competition.
Presented by Trade, Association and Business Publications International (TABPI), the annual Tabbie Awards recognize excellence among trade, association, and business publications from around the world.
Lab Manager received the top honor in the Best Single Issue category for its November/December 2025 issue. TABPI judges highlighted the publication’s clear, accessible presentation of technical information as well as its editing, readability, use of color, and overall design.
“The announcement from TABPI that Lab Manager won the Gold single issue award made me so proud of our team. The award recognizes the contributions of excellent content, art, and design,” says Scott Hanton, PhD, editorial director of Lab Manager. “It proves that we can pack our issues with relevant content for lab managers and make it easy to read with great images to support the stories and advertisers.”
The 2026 honor continues a series of Tabbie recognitions for Lab Manager. The publication was named among the top 25 in the Best Single Issue category in 2022 and again in 2023. It also won Gold for Diversity & Inclusion Journalism in 2023 and received recognition in the Best Feature Article category in 2024.
