SLAS2013 Tony B. Academic Travel Award winners announced

45 students from 12 countries earned invitations to present their scientific achievements at SLAS2013. "The Tony B. Awards reflect the heart of the SLAS mission by encouraging the next generation of scientific thought leaders to explore the future of laboratory science and technology," says SLAS President Dave Dorsett. JALA Scientific Advisor Chad Mirkin named Lee Kuan Yew Distinguished Visitor

Nanyang Technological University and the National University of Singapore hosted world-renowned chemist and nanoscience expert Chad Mirkin, Ph.D., as the 66th invited guest of the Lee Kuan Yew Distinguished Visitor Programme. Mirkin presented two public lectures in Singapore on his groundbreaking nanotechnology discoveries and met extensively with NTU and NUS faculty and students.
