The Labs21 Annual Conference is now the 2013 I2SL Annual Conference. Read on to learn about other transitions and how I2SL will be your guide to the latest resources for creating and maintaining sustainable laboratories and other high-tech facilities.

Organizational Structure A voluntary partnership program cosponsored and funded by EPA and DOE. A nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) independent organization.
Conference From 1999 through 2012, provided industry professionals a forum for sharing innovative environmental and energy-efficient laboratory building strategies. From 2006 through 2012, cosponsored the Labs21 Conference, expanding it to include other high-tech facilities globally. In 2013, I2SL takes over conference.
Partnerships Supporters, partners, and centers of excellence helped promote and showcase Labs21's sustainable strategies. I2SL's GLobal Community of members, chapters, and providers are partners in supporting and expanding I2SL's mission.
Technical Resources The Labs21 Tool Kit of resources helped guide the design, construction, and operation of laboratories. I2SL maintains the Labs21 Tool Kit and develops additional resources through its I2SL member-based working groups.
Future I2SL is solely responsible for the conference, trainings, and material development previously coordinated by Labs21, as well as its own initiatives. Your support and participation will ensure that I2SL continues its mission to encourage laboratory and related high-tech facility sustainability while addressing the rapid pace of science, medicine, research, and development in an ever-changing and dynamic world.
