Binding Site’s Immunologicals Group is pleased to announce the addition of a number of new and unique purified monoclonal antibodies to be used for the analysis and testing of the Hepatitis C Virus (HCV).  Roughly 2.4 million people in the US are affected by HCV and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released new data showing continued increases in the disease across the country, with a 21 percent increase in new cases from last year.

These monoclonal antibodies have been expressly designed for use as integral components within enzyme immunoassay (EIA) test procedures, including ELISA, and are certain to benefit the needs of clinical, biopharmaceutical, and life science researchers, as well as manufacturers of in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) test kits. This new product offering features the following – HCV Core-2 MAb; HCV Core-12 MAb; HCV Core-18 MAb; and HCV Ns3 (3.7.4.6) Mab. All of these monoclonal antibodies are sourced from mice and manufactured to a purity level of > 95%. They all feature an outstanding shelf-life claim of four years from the date of manufacture and are supplied preservative-free. All offer exceptional lot-to-lot consistencies and come packaged in ergonomically designed 1.0mg filled vials, with larger, bulk packaging configurations also available.
