Brady Announces the Release of Brady Workstation Scan and Print Software

New software streamlines workflows and reduces errors in label creation

Brady Corporation

Brady Scan and Print SoftwareMILWAUKEE, Wis. (March 14, 2018) — Brady (NYSE:BRC), a global leader in industrial and safety printing systems and solutions, announced today (Mar. 14) the release of the new Scan and Print Software. The new software is part of the Brady Workstation label creation and print software offering. The software allows users to consume data from a barcode scanner, keyboard or custom script to quickly populate custom label templates as part of a labeling workflow. This software is ideal for replicating labels and creating batch labels because it eliminates the need to re-enter existing data during the label creation process.

“The Scan and Print software aligns with Brady’s philosophy of creating products that reduce errors, make work easier and save time,” said Dustin Stumpf, associate product manager for software at Brady. “This software reduces errors by removing the manual process of entering data, and allows users to spend less time on non-revenue driving activities so they can focus more on business critical tasks.”

When paired with a scanner and Brady printer, this software provides a complete solution so users can maximize their label output and streamline production workflows. It also includes a variety of modes so it can fit more easily into already existing workflows. The software is available in a standalone option for users who already use scanners and Brady printers as part of their workflow, or it is available in kits that include barcode scanners and Brady printers so a new workflow can easily be created.
