lifecience-bindingsite-BorreliaBinding Site’s IMMUNOLOGICALS GROUP is pleased to announce the introduction of highly purified Borrelia and Chikungunya Glycoprotein antigens for use in both in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) manufacturing and research applications. The availability of these antigens is certain to benefit the needs of IVD assay manufacturers; clinical, biopharmaceutical, and life science researchers; and other allied health professionals, as the antigens have been expressly designed for use as an integral component within solid phase ELISA-based immunoassay test procedures.
The antigens being introduced include Borrelia afzelii–Pko DbpA; Borrelia afzelii–Pko OspC; Chikungunya Glycoprotein–E2; Chikungunya Glycoprotein–E1; and Chikungunya Glycoprotein–E1 - A226V. All of the antigens are all derived and sourced from infected cells, via culture, which are then treated by heat, detergent, chemical, or UV irradiation to inactivate the pathogenic components. All exhibit high purity levels as a result of either chromatography, cross flow ultra-filtration, ultra-centrifugation, or extraction processes and display the highest degrees of activity and specificity.
In addition, all of the offered antigens demonstrate exceptional lot-to-lot consistency and feature an outstanding shelf life stability claim of ten (10) years from the date of manufacture. The available antigens are offered in a standard packaging formats of 1.0 mg fill vials, with larger, bulk configurations also available.
