Verichem Laboratories ’ Tru-Zero™ bilirubin standard incorporates a proprietary stabilization process, which eliminates the need for azide, glycol, or surfactants. The product features an exceptional refrigerated open-vial product stability claim of five days; with a shelf-life of 14 months when stored at 2 to 8°C. In addition, it is supplied ready-to-use and requires no special reconstitution procedures or diluents. The Tru-Zero™ bilirubin standard is conveniently packaged in amber serum vials, with rubber-lined closures for added security, containing five milliliters (5.0mL) of material; with each kit containing two vials. Used in conjunction with Verichem Laboratories ’ five-level Bilirubin Standard Kit (Cat. No. 9450) and the 9436 Bilirubin Standard-Level F (Cat. No. 9436), it becomes part of an all-encompassing set of total and direct bilirubin standard materials for CLIA calibration verification.
