On March 22, Seeding Labs held its Positively Instrumental: Celebrating the Power of Global Science event at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research in Cambridge, MA.

The annual event gives thanks to the nonprofit’s various partners and is also the launching pad for the year’s Instrumental Access program awardees. Through the program, talented researchers in developing countries are awarded donated lab equipment that they wouldn’t otherwise be able to access.

“Positively Instrumental was truly a night celebrating the power of global science,” said Seeding Labs founder and CEO Nina Dudnik, PhD, in a press release from the nonprofit organization. “The diverse community represented at the event was a testament to our belief that science is a global endeavor, and that the scientific community is strongest when everyone can fully and actively contribute. I’m grateful to our partners who support our work and am honored by their generosity that will help Seeding Labs catalyze research and teaching at 15 outstanding institutions worldwide this year.”
