Agilent Technologies Inc. has announced that its Refurbishment Centers in Delaware, USA, and Singapore have achieved Green level certification from My Green Lab, the highest possible recognition for sustainable lab practices.
The year-long certification journey, which began in April 2024, focused on 12 critical areas of lab sustainability—including chemical inventory management, internal waste audits, and environmental signage. The centers earned final scores of 90% (Delaware) and 87% (Singapore), signaling their excellence in eco-conscious operations.
A Sustainable Edge for Lab Managers:
- Factory-grade restored instruments from Agilent's Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program
- Reduced operational waste through best-in-class refurbishment processes
- Circular economy initiatives, including trade-in and buy-back programs
- Parts harvesting and recycling for non-restorable equipment
"These top level certifications are a testament to the dedication and precision of Agilent's team," said Andreas Otto, Marketing Manager and Sustainability Specialist at Agilent.
Additionally, 50% of refurbishment team members have become My Green Lab Ambassadors, reinforcing a culture of sustainability across operations.
With additional certified centers in Santa Clara, Waldbronn, and Cheadle, Agilent continues to set the standard for responsible lab management and green innovation.
