Credit: EllutiaThe 500 Series GC is the only machine on the market that can offer conventional or fast chromatography using its air blown oven and standard GC columns plus the ability to perform ultra-fast GC (UFGC) with directly heated columns. This removes the need for multiple instruments and frees up valuable in the lab. The 500 Series GC is easy to use, straightforward to maintain, and offers the flexibility to run existing methods or use the power of UFGC to reduce analysis cycle times.

The UFGC feature on the 500 Series GC is designed for rapid and repeated analysis, which typically reduces analysis cycle times by five to 10 times when compared with traditional chromatography. Applications include environmental, petrochemical, and pesticide analysis, as well as waste stream analysis in manufacturing.

Ellutia’s marketing director, Andrew James, commented, “As laboratories come under increased pressure to meet faster delivery targets, and reduce energy consumption, instrument manufacturers like Ellutia are working closely with customers to develop bespoke solutions that meet their individual needs.”

“All of our customers benefit from the industry knowledge we have gained through over two decades of experience in gas chromatography. We work in close partnership to develop technology to suit the specific requirements of each business.”
