HORIBA Scientific, a global leader in Raman spectroscopy, has just launched their RamanAcademy™ online learning site.

RamanAcademy is designed to offer new and experienced Raman users the tools that will increase the depth and breadth of their Raman expertise. This will enable them to perform more applications and, in turn, enhance the value of their Raman instrument.

There are four learning areas on the RamanAcademy site:

• The Introduction to Raman Spectroscopy, which includes information on the theory of Raman, Raman scattering, Stokes and Anti-Stokes, SERS, Lasers and microscopes;
• How-To-Raman offers step-by-step instructions on how to perform Raman imaging, Raman mapping, particle analysis, multilayer polymer film analyses, and more;
• FAQs on the basics, Raman analyses techniques, Raman microscopes, spectral imaging, hybrid Raman techniques and hardware;
• Webinars and educational videos.
