A federal jury has found that Apple infringed a patent owned by the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) for an invention that significantly improves the efficiency and speed of computer processing.  On Oct. 16, at the end of a two-week trial, the jury awarded WARF damages of $234 million.
