Andrea Yarbrough is the filtration science laboratory supervisor at Freudenberg Filtration Technologies and supports testing needs for their North American divisions. From the time she was in high school, she always wanted to work and manage a laboratory. She now has over 20 years of laboratory experience, including 13 years in a quality laboratory for the automotive industry and nine years managing the everyday operations of the R&D laboratory at Freudenberg Filtration Technologies.

Andrea has strived to organize her team to prioritize safety, quality, customer centricity, and efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement in her laboratory.  She is doing this by creating flexibility, standardizing documentation and data tracking, and streamlining communication pathways for transparency by utilizing lean tools.

Andrea enjoys traveling with her husband, Dwayne, to visit their three children and five grandkids and is always planning their next adventure with her camera in hand.
