Dr. Melissa Delgado is a dynamic biotech professional with over ten years of experience in scientific research, business development, and strategic sales management. She currently serves as the senior regional manager of the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, and Canada at ACROBiosystems, where she oversees commercial operations.
Melissa’s scientific expertise spans molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, and immunology. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University, following a Master of Science from California State University, Long Beach, and a PhD in biology from the University of Washington. Her research contributions have been published in leading journals such as Nature Communications, The Journal of Immunology, and Current Opinion in Cell Biology.
Prior to her current role, Melissa held positions at USC’s Keck School of Medicine, City of Hope, and BioLegend, where she worked on cancer genetics, recombinant antibodies, and protein development. She is passionate about bridging science and strategy to accelerate therapeutic innovation.
