Rapid diagnostic tests, point-of-care tests, lateral flow assay development, and drug development all require the collection and dispensing of micro samples of biological fluids such as plasma and urine. Often, these samples are obtained and manipulated in point-of-care settings, by multiple users with varying degrees of training. Therefore, a liquid handling device must be highly accurate and easy to use to ensure the correct sample volume for diagnosis or product development.
