DPX Technologies was founded in 2007 and specializes in custom applications for a diverse client base including clinical and forensic laboratories, food safety, drug discovery, and pharmaceutical research. INTip Filtration utilizes a patent-pending Tip-on-Tip (ToT) technology designed as a natural progression of the DPX INTip product line to promote the simplification and automation of complex sample preparation. ToT Filtration methods can be used for automated protein precipitation and urine filtration.
DPX Technologies has partnered with Hamilton Robotics to offer an INTip™ solution that automates protein precipitation and filtration. Credit: DPX TechnologiesToT Filtration combines a top wide bore conductive tip and a bottom Filtration Tip. Filtration Tips can be ordered in low porosity, dual phase, or single phase. This methodology provides an automated alternative to traditional filtration/centrifugation and is ideal for high throughput protein precipitation, beta-glucuronidase enzyme removal or any other particulate removal down to < 1 μm.
To meet the throughput demands of today’s high volume clinical testing labs, automated filtration prior to blood, serum or urine analysis is available through ToT Filtration. Vitamin D testing, testosterone testing, and beta-glucuronidase enzyme removal are just a few of the applications that have already been validated using this methodology.
ToT methods are available on all Hamilton Robotics platforms. DPX Technologies partners with Hamilton to provide custom method develop for clinical applications. DPX INTip products will be featured on Hamilton Robotics during the 2019 AACC conference in Hamilton Company’s booth #1811.
