Lab Manager Magazine, one of the fastest growing magazines serving the scientific research market, has entered into a collaboration with ALMA, the Association of Laboratory Managers. Through this collaboration ALMA and Lab Manager Magazine will mutually support the missions of their organization and readership -- to deliver learning opportunities and the latest news and information important to laboratory management professionals. ALMA and Lab Manager Magazine are confident that by combining their strengths both will be better able to serve their audiences of laboratory managers in industry, government and universities all over the world.

“Entering into this collaboration with ALMA reinforces and strengthens our mission of providing the most relevant, in-depth and timely management and technology information to those in the research community. ALMA’s members, meetings and informational resources will enhance our shared goals of building a strong and vibrant community of lab professionals,” says Mario Di Ubaldi, publisher of Lab Manager Magazine.

According to Dr. John Sadowski , ALMA executive director, “ALMA will continue to provide learning, sharing and networking opportunities through conferences and workshops while broadening our outreach by working with Lab Manager Magazine. ALMA will support the publication of timely articles of great interest and value to lab professionals authored by peers and educators in the lab management community.”

ALMA (www.labmanagers.org) is a non-profit association of laboratory managers that provides a forum for improving laboratory management skills worldwide through conferences and workshops and by providing a network to interact with managers with similar problems to find solutions and ideas that have worked in their laboratories.
