Apparently guinea pig sex is far too loud.

It’s loud enough, especially at night, that a noise complaint from a neighbor means the University of Munster in Germany will have to remove its research animals from their current location.

“The guinea pigs are unbelievably loud and stink to high heaven. It's unbearable,” 69-year-old Pavo R told Germany’s The Local.

The 13 male and female guinea pigs, part of the school’s Institute of Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology, were kept in a large cage outside with a sign informing passerby that “these animals live in non-committal, mixed-gender groups and mate with every possible partner,” The Local reported.

Following the complaint by a couple who live near the university, a German court ruled that the cage is illegally placed. Currently, it is only two meters away and should be at least three meters from the residence.

Despite the ruling, the university told the court the cage cannot be moved. According to The Huffington Post, the university reached an agreement where the cage can be left where it is but the sex-crazed guinea pigs must go.
