Last week’s Pittcon in Atlanta attracted 10,042 attendees, including full conferees, guests, one-day visitors, students and media. Compared with the 10,098 total attendees at last year’s Pittcon in Orlando, the slightly smaller headcount seems negligible. Including exhibitors, the complete attendee list was greater this year with 17,098, compared with 16,876 last year. Interestingly, there were 278 more exhibitors at this year’s Pittcon than last.
