The new PHOTOCHIP™ high power LED photoreactor module from Uniqsis provides chemists with a benchmark tool to run photochemical reactions with highly efficient mixing and accurately controlled temperature.

The PHOTOCHIP™ is an easy-to-use device—design optimized to perform photochemical reactions in the complete range of Uniqsis Glass Static Mixer (GSM) reactor blocks, also known as GSM chip reactors.

Lab Quality Management Certificate

The Lab Quality Management certificate is more than training—it’s a professional advantage.

Gain critical skills and IACET-approved CEUs that make a measurable difference.

Accommodating either one large format or two compact format Uniqsis GSMs—chemists can choose a PHOTOCHIP™ module operating at a wavelength (365nm, 385nm, 420nm, 450nm, 460nm, or 525nm) to match the excitation wavelength of their desired photochemistry.

The high-power LEDs used in the PHOTOCHIP™ module require liquid cooling and, where the reaction temperature is close to room temperature, either a cold-water supply, or a recirculating system can control both the reactor and LED temperatures by connecting the respective cooling circuits in series.

Each PHOTOCHIP™ module has an interlock that prevents exposure to high intensity light by cutting power to the LEDs if any attempt is made to remove the light unit whilst switched “on.” A thermal switch protects the LEDs if they are powered without adequate cooling.
