Pfeiffer Vacuum, one of the world's leading producers of vacuum products and services, introduces HiCube™ Pro turbopump stations featuring industry leading HiPace turbopumps and the dry ACP multi-stage backing pump from the Adixen Division of Pfeiffer Vacuum. The plug-and-play pump stations are ideally suited for applications that require fast pump-down times in R&D, accelerators, analysis, surface physics and vacuum processes.
The new HiCube Pro turbopump stations offer flexibility, high performance, long service life, and modular design for easy integration into the users' process. Integrated drive electronics reduce the need for cumbersome cabling. Innovative materials double the service life of the drives while the functional aluminum housing makes these turbopump stations extremely light for easier handling. Run-up time has also been reduced so that the desired vacuum level is reached sooner.
Integrated sensors allow analysis of temperature and other pertinent data. A sealing gas connection safeguards the bearings against particulate matter or oxidizing gases providing high reliability in both light duty and harsh duty applications. These turbopump stations also feature reduced rotation speed for no gas load and an electromagnetic valve that shuts off the ACP pump during power down situations.
HiCube Pro pumping stations are suitable for all high vacuum applications and are available with dry compressing and oil-sealed backing pumps. Pumping speeds range from 35 I/s - 685 I/s. The HiCube Pro is especially characterized by its extremely fast pump-down times.
The HiCube Pro joins the low cost HiCube Eco and HiCube Classic family of turbopump stations. The HiCube Eco is for pumping speeds from 35 I/s - 67 I/s and HiCube Classic, with dry or oil-sealed backing pumps is for applications where shorter pump down times are required.
