Wood Dale, IL and Franklin Lakes, NJ (July 7, 2011) -- SANYO North America Corporation (SANYO) Biomedical Solutions Division and BD Biosciences, a segment of BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), announced a strategic agreement today to jointly promote cutting-edge life science research tools designed to advance cell culture and cell therapy research, which will help them expand their presence in the cell therapy, cellculture and overall life sciences markets.

The goals of this collaboration are to develop long-term and short-term co-marketing programs, as well as to research innovative ways to combine product technologies and offerings to serve both current and untapped market applications. SANYO will integrate with BD Biosciences’ SySTEMatic ExCELLence marketing campaign.

The two businesses will work together to grow current and future business by combining SANYO CO incubators with specialized BD Biosciences - Discovery Labware products. They will also combine SANYO refrigerators and freezers with BD Advanced Bioprocessing cell culture media and supplements for multiple research applications.
