How have U.S.A airlines achieved a safety record that is the envy of the world? To a great extent, they have built that record using standards of behavior. Safety is an elusive goal, often sought, but hard to achieve. This webinar will explain the role of standards in bringing about the goal of safety in the workplace, or, for that matter in families and other teams. Good safety standards will be defined and explained, with tools provided that you can put to work tomorrow.

In this webinar you will learn to:

  • Define and create good standards
  • Recognize the basic characteristics of good standards
  • Recognize the difference between standards, goals, quotas, and specs
  • Execute and maintain good standards with participation from your entire team

Ralph Hood, CSP has been part of the aviation industry for five decades. He has taught college-level aviation management, has written in every issue of Airport Business magazine, and has studied the remarkable success of standards in aviation.
