One of the most important business acquisitions in the history of Analytik Jena AG has been closed.

Bruker has released an application note detailing a simple and convenient method for the quantification of trace pharmaceutical and personal care products (PPCPs) in clean water, using Bruker’s EVOQ triple quadrupole liquid chromatography mass spectrometer (LC-MS/MS).

Bruker Corporation today announced that it has acquired Prairie Technologies, Inc. (Prairie), a provider of life science fluorescence microscopy products. The acquisition strengthens Bruker’s position in life science markets, adding to the Bruker Nano Surfaces Division’s existing life science atomic force microscopy (Bio-AFM) systems.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Ames Laboratory has announced that it will acquire a Dynamic Nuclear Polarization-NMR spectrometer, a giant step forward in the laboratory’s world-class solid state NMR capabilities.

Bruker is hosting a seminar entitled ‘Multiple Reaction Monitoring for EPA Methods: Improving Data Quality and Workflow in the Environmental Laboratory.’ The seminar will take place on August 6 from 5:30 – 7:00pm in the Hyatt Regency in San Antonio, Texas, and will explore the application of tandem gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) to a range of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) methods.
