AMHERST, NH – November 2, 2005 - Lab Manager Magazine has appointed
Dr. Barbara VanRenterghem as Editor for its newest publication, Lab Manager Magazine. Dr. VanRenterghem will be reporting to Chief Editor Patrice Galvin.
An experienced industry editor, Dr. VanRenterghem has worked as Chief Editor of Preclinica and Editor of BioTechniques, as well as directing commercial product development in scientific publishing. She has also been published extensively in scientific journals, including The Journal of Biological Chemistry, Molecular Brain Research, and Trends in Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Dr. VanRenterghem holds a Ph. D. in Pharmacology from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She is active in numerous scientific societies, including ASPET, ASBMB, AAAS, The Endocrine Society, and the Council of Science Editors.

Lab Manager Magazine will commence publication in March 2006 with its April/May 2006 issue, according to Patrick Murphy, President of Lab Manager Magazine.
