Vycom’s Thermax XL PVC is designed with outstanding fabrication flexibility, efficiency, and consistency. It is ideal for fabricating laboratory and semiconductor cleanroom equipment including wet benches, process tools, furniture, cabinetry, and chemical delivery systems. Thanks to Thermax XL’s enhanced durability, the PVC sheets are also ideal for crafting carts for acid or chemical transportation. Additionally, Thermax XL PVC can be used to assemble fume hoods, processing sinks & baths as well as chemical storage.  Available in 0.125- through 1-inch thicknesses, the standard sheet size is 4- by 8-feet; other sheet sizes are available by special order.

Thermax XL’s bright white color and high gloss deliver a premium aesthetic with enhanced surface quality—all in a high-temperature material.  Vycom also supplies the welding rod, which uses the same formulation as the sheet, to maximize ease of fabrication.  It can be welded, cut, shaped, fastened, and glued with the same workability as standard PVC. The intuitive workability of the material eliminates special training, reducing downtime and speeding project turnaround.  Because durability is essential in a cleanroom environment, Vycom’s consistent craftsmanship and advanced technology allow Thermax XL to resist weather, chemical rotting, corrosion, shock, and abrasion giving customers peace of mind to utilize it in high-value applications.
