Webinar: Biocompatible Solid Phase Microextraction (BioSPME): A New Tool for the Clinical Chemist

Date(s):

In this webinar you will learn how BioSPME devices can be used to directly sample from complex biological matrices

Live Air Date: Sunday, December 11, 2016

Since its first report in 1990, solid phase microextraction (SPME) has become one of the most rapidly growing sample preparation methods. Although traditionally focused on GC-amenable analytes, a recent expansion of this technique, known as biocompatible SPME (BioSPME), has allowed this sample preparation methodology to evolve into a useful tool for clinical applications.

In this webinar, you will learn more about:

  • The basic theory and method development of BioSPME as well as several key applications
  • How BioSPME devices can be used to directly sample from complex biological matrices
  • Methods to greatly reduce your sample processing and analysis times
  • Examples of how this technique can be used to develop more effective assays
