(Oakland, CA)—CW Analytical, an industry pioneer and widely trusted thought-leader in the cannabis testing and safety forum, has recently earned ISO accreditation by Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation Inc. (PJLA) for methods and protocols employed in their Bay Area facility. As an extension of the lab's already innovative legacy, CW Analytical has focused on earning scientific recognition from a third-party organization endorsed by the scientific community at large.

"The ISO/IEC17025:2005 accreditation protocol is internationally recognized as the basis for analytical laboratory standards. It provides a common foundation for labs who desire scientific evolution and helps in decreasing inter-laboratory variation. We're extremely proud of this achievement and look forward to widespread adoption of this standard within the cannabis testing community," said Dr. Robert W Martin, Cofounder and COO of CW Analytical Labs, as well as the Founding Member and Executive Director of The Association of Commercial Cannabis Laboratories(ACCL).

As the California medical cannabis industry evolves, state-mandated laboratory standards of operation prove vital. In pursuit of sharper scientific standards gaining traction throughout the industry, CW Analytical pushes the envelope by offering the current market qualified accuracy and precision.

According to the website, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) "is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 163 national standards bodies. Through its members, [the organization] brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges."
