Deidre Caskenette
Deidre Caskenette is an editorial intern for Lab Manager. Currently, she is finishing her Master of Science Communication degree at Laurentian University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph, and a Master of Science degree in Human Anatomy from Western University. She has 10 years’ experience writing functional evaluations and editing medical reports. Deidre has experience as a gross human anatomy lab instructor and has taught English as a second language internationally. In her spare time, she is an avid traveler and nature enthusiast. She has pursued interests in marathon running and long-distance hiking. Deidre is currently researching the portrayal of wildlife in natural history documentaries as it relates to formation of public views about human-wildlife relationships.
