Susanne Groedl studied politics with a minor in economics and law at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, graduating with a Master of Arts. She worked as an event manager for one of Germany’s largest daily newspapers, the Süddeutsche Zeitung, before joining Messe München in 1999 as a junior exhibition manager. In 2005, Groedl was appointed exhibition director for analytica Munich, analytica China, and analytica Anacon India. Since 2024, as global industry lead, she has overseen the strategic direction of all analytica trade fairs worldwide. Groedl is married with two daughters, and besides spending time with her family, she enjoys outdoor sports activities.
