The new GMP30000 mixer offers effective mixing in large volumes — as high as 30,000 liters. Its aseptic design makes it suitable for use in mixing operations in sterile production of pharmaceuticals as well as high-end food and beverage applications. The large mixer size can also be leveraged for mixing smaller volumes at high viscosity and/or specific gravity. The NovAseptic GMP30000 mixer combines mixing performance at large volumes with the well-known characteristics of magnetically coupled GMP mixers: easy maintenance, low level mixing and maintained integrity of the vessel, eliminating the risk of contamination.

 

The extended NovAseptic Mixer family, now ranging from 50 to 30000 liter nominal, and the Mobius^® family of disposable mixing systems further strengthen Millipore’s position as a provider of mixing solutions for biopharmaceutical applications. In addition, mixing solution can be identified early in the design process by using selection tools and evaluated through the new PreValidation^SM Service package. This saves time and enables early mixing optimization, avoiding costly surprises and is achieved by partnering with mixing specialists in flexible mixing trials in either application laboratories or on-site.
