Cilas Particle Size announces a new Image Analysis System for all our particle size analyzers. This new imaging system has the ability to directly link the particle size distribution data from the laser diffraction analyzer with results acquired using the imaging system. This allows the user to validate their method and ensures accurate particle size and shape results. The new imaging system can be used with any Cilas laser particle size analyzer. All Cilas analyzers are designed exclusively with lasers to maintain the highest precision and accuracy across the entire measurement range. With Cilas’ ExpertShape Image Analysis, shape parameters such as aspect ratio, perimeter, area and shape factor can be measured with the imaging system. A unique fully programmable integrated liquid and dry dispersion system allows users to switch between dispersion modes without having to switch hardware or realign the system. Optical components are permanently mounted on a cast iron base plate to ensure the system is always in alignment. Cilas analyzers are fully compliant with ISO 13320, 21 CFR Part 11, and USP <429>, providing accurate, reproducible, and rapid results over the lifetime of the instrument.
