Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica

Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) is the national research institute for mathematics and computer science in the Netherlands. CWI conducts pioneering research in mathematics and computer science and transfers new knowledge to society and business. We focus on four areas of fundamental research: Algorithms, Data & Intelligent systems, Cryptography & Security, and Quantum Computing. CWI works closely with Dutch universities through semester programmes, joint research programs and an active exchange of scientific talent.
