Advanced Lab Management Certificate

The Advanced Lab Management certificate is more than training—it’s a professional advantage.

Gain critical skills and IACET-approved CEUs that make a measurable difference.

This year, 34 new courses were added in the fields of data analysis, food, industrial hygiene, life science liquid chromatography, lab management, and pharmaceutical sciences, polymers, quality/regulatory/compliance, and rheology.

Lab management courses are a significant part of the program and include informative compliance courses on the general requirements of how to get accredited to ISO 17025 and updates on IEC 61010-1. The one-day course, How to Manage a Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP), provides instructions on how to construct an operations manual to facilitate regulatory inspections and organize laboratory functions.

Short Course Chairman Alice Chen commented, "We continually strive to add new topics to our program [short courses] to stay abreast of current events and to present relevant, useful information for laboratory professionals. In addition to the educational aspect, the new regulatory courses can be a tremendous asset to attendees by providing valuable networking opportunities and contacts in the field."

The deadline for discounted Short Course registration fees is February 13, and prices range from $235 to $900. For more information, visit www.pittcon.org.
