HAVERHILL, MA — May 6, 2020 — The Industrial Gas Filtration & Generation Division, the global leader in gas generation technology for laboratories, has announced the release of the ALIGNTM Multi-Gas Generator, a compact nitrogen, zero-grade air, and clean dry air generator serving the mass spectrometry market. The ALIGNTM Multi-Gas is a groundbreaking under bench, energy-efficient gas generator offering whisper quiet operation and unmatched performance.
The ALIGNTM Multi-Gas is the first product in a new line of generators designed to maximize instrument support and laboratory profits. The ALIGNTM platform features a low-profile and small footprint designed to fit under the shortest lab bench, leaving benchtop space available for other valuable instruments. In addition, the integration of smart controls enables ALIGNTM products to operate only as much as the instrument calls for, thereby conserving energy, reducing electrical bills, eliminating unnecessary noise, and increasing the reliability of the entire system. This generator was designed to support all SCIEX and PerkinElmer QSight mass spectrometers, with ease of operation in mind.
Any lab using analytical instruments can benefit from taking control of their gas supply, and the ALIGNTM Multi-Gas provides several key advantages over delivered gas cylinders and traditional generator designs. On-site gas generation completely eliminates the safety hazards created by moving and storing high-pressure cylinders, eliminates any variation in gas quality from tank to tank, and keeps the most valuable employees focused on profitable work.
“The ALIGNTM product line has been praised for its quite operation and its positive impact on the environment. An integrated variable speed controller dramatically reduces power consumption while eliminating cylinder deliveries both reduces a laboratory’s carbon footprint and eliminates delivery disruptions,” said Vitaliy Glotov, engineering manager. “As a team, we are always striving to deliver the highest quality and performance products to our customers to aid in critical scientific work.”
The ALIGNTM Multi-Gas Generator is being manufactured in Haverhill, Massachusetts and is part of a portfolio continuing Parker’s long history of improving safety and sustainability in laboratories. Despite current conditions, the generator is available for purchase now and the Parker teams are dedicated to delivering best-in-class quality and customer service without undue delay.
