Treatments for cystic fibrosis may be easier to develop with the use of a new test created by Stanford researchers.

The test – taken by sampling sweat – shows that smaller amounts of a particular protein are necessary to stop cystic fibrosis symptoms than previously thought, according to Jeffrey Wine, a professor of psychology and biology who is the director of Stanford's Cystic Fibrosis Research Laboratory.
