St. Louis, MO., January 9, 2012 – Sigma-Aldrich® Corporation (NASDAQ: SIAL) announced today (Jan. 9) it has signed a five-year contract extension with Honeywell for the manufacture and supply of Riedel-de Haën® high purity solvents, Karl Fischer reagents and other laboratory chemicals produced at Honeywell's Seelze, Germany, manufacturing site. The contract extends an existing supply agreement, in place since 1999, through March 31, 2019.

Honeywell products are key additions to the Sigma-Aldrich analytical portfolio and are recognized for reliable performance in analytical laboratories. As part of the agreement, Honeywell willcontinue to supply a range of services to Sigma-Aldrich in Seelze, Germany,including advanced laboratory and warehouse services and Sigma-Aldrich willcontinue to provide shipping, forwarding and small package filling at the Honeywell facility.
