NSF grant will support research using brain imaging to help study individual differences

Problem: There has been an explosion in the growth of information. So much growth, that traditional informatics solutions are no longer sufficient. The labs of today, and most certainly the labs of tomorrow, need new tools to gather the data generated, make sense of it and turn it into actionable knowledge.

Imagine saving companies hundreds of thousands of dollars by having college students find cost-saving measures in bits of data as part of a class project. As a leader in business analytics education since 2002, the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Commerce has been doing just that.
