Yu Cheng is the vice president of R&D and product solutions in the TA Instruments Division of Waters. He holds a PhD in chemical and biological engineering from Princeton University and dual bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and economics from Tsinghua University in Beijing. With over 20 years of experience, Yu has driven innovation and business growth in pharmaceuticals, health sciences, and analytical instruments. Prior to joining Waters, Yu led Nestlé Health Science's Metabolic Health business, contributed to 15 investigational new drugs at Merck and advised biopharma leaders at McKinsey & Co.
