LOS ALAMOS, New Mexico, March 8, 2012—Starting Monday, March 12, Los Alamos National Laboratory will host a series of three Northern New Mexico community forums about the Lab’s voluntary workforce separation program now under way. Employees, spouses, and the general public are welcome to attend.

  • March 13th, Española, 6:00-7:30 p.m., Nick L. Salazar Center for the Arts, Northern New Mexico College
  •  
  • March 14th, Los Alamos, 6:00-7:30 p.m., Duane Smith Auditorium

WHY: To answer questions regarding the Laboratory’s current workforce reduction. On March 1st, LANL announced it received government approval to reduce its workforce by between 400 and 800 employees through a voluntary separation program.
