Problem: With their critical needs for indoor air quality, power, temperature, humidity and other environmental conditions, labs traditionally have had a difficult time balancing the growing pressures for energy efficiency with the technical requirements of the required functionality within the facility.

Everyone brings their own personal baggage with them to work. People make poor choices, act rashly and defend their own comfort zones. People have agendas all their own that often have nothing to do with the work agenda that you, as the manager, are promoting.

Most Americans spend the bulk of their waking hours at work. Some say that Americans’ “best” hours are given to their employers. If workers like their jobs and/or workplace, they can accept that reality without a fight. Yet, when employees find themselves working with really difficult people, life at work can be extra trying or downright exasperating!
